This Skyrim Dragonborn statue has the Dragon Priest Morokei Mask on. And it's $370 worth of high quality poly-stone. Standing 16 inches tall (1/6 scale), with a base with a dragon tail, this statue is limited to 250 worldwide. Also, real fabrics. For realism.
Pre-orders available at the Bethesda store.
Ghostbusting Luigi fans will be totally spooked by these light-up gashapon keychain blocks from Bandai. They feature a green or red light and pictures of Luigi or the ghosts, and can be stacked together for a truly eerie display. A button lights them up.
NCSX has these listed at $20.90 for the set.
Fan of looking ridiculous? Fan of Mega Man? Then GE Entertainment has you covered completely with the Servbot hat. It has arms. Excessive. No price or release yet, but just look at it. You've already made your decision.
Several warriors from the Final Fantasy series' earlier years are getting immortalized as metal keychains in late September this year. The characters range from Final Fantasy I-VI, and is really more of a random assortment than a "All the Bravest" set. It's meant to be all of the character types in the series and not specific characters, (though it seems that Kain and Mog may have snuck in). If it was an all characters IV & VI set I would have pounced on it.
No word on how these are packaged, but I'm guessing the worst way: blindly. This means NCSX's pre-order asking price might be justified. Might.
Listed as follows in the pic:
Warrior, Knight, Magic Swordsman, Monk, Thief, White Mage, Guru, Black Mage, Majin, Mage, Summoner, Samurai, Ninja, Dragoon, Hunter, Berserker, Blue Mage, Red Mage, Viking, Feng fighters, Minstrel, Dancer, Onion Knight, Mog, Kappa, Pig, Chocobo.
Udon presented a very limited hardcover art book for Mega Man's 25th Anniversary. They will offer pre-orders on the $99.99 book starting August 1st, 2013. They will also be offering some at PAX Prime. The softcover edition will be $59.99 and have a larger run and come out in late August or early September.
This edition is the revised edition of the MM20 art book with extra content and revised descriptions.
Not much is known, but these were revealed at Wonfest.
AM Keihin has grabbed the Luigi's Mansion 2 license and are adding some big cushions and some pocket watches to the merch list for the Year of Luigi. Come August 2013, these will both be released. The cushions measure 17.71" x 17.71" and have the official art on them, while the watches also feature art from the game on the faces.

Even all these years later, the Famicom still overshadows this little Japanese wonder with its 30th birthday, but that isn't stopping it from releasing meaningful merchandise. The SG-1000 from SEGA had some great tunes, so to commemorate this fact, a four-disc soundtrack is being released by WaveMaster. There are a boatload of tracks, as can be seen here. Several titles are represented here for fans to rock out to. Available on the Japanese SEGA site, and it releases later this month.
Thanks Sega Genesist!
SDCC is a great place for swag, but it is also a great place to announce swag is coming. NECA has released information on a Batman Arkham Origins Grapnel Gun Prop Replica that will be exclusively available at GameStop (?) and cost $35. This thing is spring-loaded and motorized. Not sure if this is a good idea. You can go ahead and pre-order it here. Comes out during the release of the game in October.
We have already discussed Capcom's wares, but what else will be on the floor at the San Diego Comic Con? Hit the break to find out.
There have been several hardbound guides that have released over the years that have been called Collector's Editions. Four of these guides have been released commercially but are very hard to find (The Legend of Zelda Spirit Tracks, The Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass, The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess, and The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword). The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker guide is up for pre-order now for an October 2013 release. The sixth book, for The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D, will be exclusive to this set. The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword guide will also be revised for this set and feature an additional 100 pages of content!
If that wasn't enough, the set will be enclosed in a cardboard "treasure chest"-themed box with a magnetic clasp, and there will be an individually numbered certificate of authenticity that will include a signature from Mr. Eiji Aonuma (Producer/Director for the Legend of Zelda series). A metal bookmark will also be included.
No word yet about whether the set will include each book's physical goodie, like the cloth map for the Twilight Princess guide.
All of this is set to release in November 2013.
All this for ~$150 at Amazon! As the Ocarina of Time 3D guide will be around $50 at launch, this is an incredible value!
Thanks The Crow!
That pic makes this item look small. It is not. Hasepro has made these storage seats, or ottomans, and released them this month. Check a pic of someone sitting on it after the break. Around $20 each, but good luck importing.
Time to redeem those hard earned coins for members of the North American Club Nintendo who attained Gold or Platinum status.

The physical rewards are your best bet, but the offerings are a bit disappointing, starting a trend. The posters are great but they are still just posters. The soundtrack has been previously released, but I believe it was Japan-only. The calendar is a standard release each year. The games are good, but considering how many games you had to register to receive a free game between $5 and $10 is ridiculous. Oh well. Free is free, right?
The new flying Pink Pikmin from Pikmin 3 will be immortalized in plastic for those lucky enough to live in a region that still has decent pre-order bonuses. GAME in the UK is offering this at launch.
Club Nintendo Japan, the one with all the cool stuff, is releasing a Luigi-only soundtrack featuring tracks from games featuring him. 400 coins gets people the disc, or less if they bought some Luigi games recently.
I don't normally report on Limited Editions from Japan because they are so hard to get, and quite expensive. However, these were too gorgeous to pass up. And yes, they are technically 3DS LL's because they are in Japan. Only Japan. They get stuff like this too. Not fair.
Buy them at your favorite place to buy import hardware! Good luck wallets!
Drool fest at the San Diego Comic Con this year! Especially for Mega Man fans! An inflatable Arm Cannon, a stainless steel pixelated Mega Man keychain, and a 25th Anniversary case for your 3DS (or 3DSXL). There is also an Umbrella Corporation watch (Resident Evil), a poster set in a Capcom tube, and STreet Fighter goodies.
Check them out at Capcom-Unity!
