Anyone else using Firefox 9.x (i.e. Nightly)?
I had been using 5 and updated to 6 this past week...decided to skip 7 (Beta) & 8 (Aurora) and go for the 9.x build.
Wow...this is fast...64-bit utilization...Adblock Plus and NoScript compatibility (these are the best add-ons EVER)...in a native 64-bit Windows browser not owned by Microsoft...Link if anyone wants to give it a whirl
...FYI all of the Firefox browsers have been 32-bit native to-date...as well as Chrome and others, though I believe Chrome has been working on a 64-bit build as of now at least for Linux/Ubuntu.
There have been no native Windows 64-bit browsers to-date except for IE9.You'll need the Adobe Flash Player 11 Beta though.
I've made a custom ABP filter a while back...if anyone would like this, I can email it.
It's like my mouse moves faster...insane.
EDIT - After zooming around a bit...I found some useful add-ons for ver9.x:Override Add-on compatibilityReport Compatibility
With these I am able to run the following add-ons after verifying compatibility and submit to Firefox their compatibility/conflicts...awesome (*high-pitch shrill voice*):
Adblock Plus Pop-up Addon
Photobucket Uploader (I absolutely love this...right-click and upload images without navigating to Photobucket)
Adblock Plus & NoScript were compatible out the gate already.
Double Edit - I cannot reiterate how insanely fast browsing is...I'm not sure if this is a net benefit as I now can't stop browsing.
